The temperature dependencies of NMR spectra of 1H, 23Na and 27Al nuclei in natrolite Na2Al2Si3O10 2H2O have been studied. It has been shown that the model of the normal distribution of the activation energy may be considered as a preferable model for the diffusion of the water molecules in the natrolite. The influence of the water molecule diffusion on the NMR spectra of 23Na and 27Al has been discussed. It has been established that the internal mobility of aluminium and sodium ions does not occur in natrolite.
The influence of non-Markov molecular motions on NMR absorption spectra has been investigated. It has been shown that the simple non-Markov model of water molecular motion with fluctuations driven by dichotomic noise very well explains the observed temperature dependence of NMR spectra in the mineral natrolite. -PACS number: 05.40.+j, 33.25.+k, 76.20.+q
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
