Dynamics of structure formation and structure transitions in d i a with and without wave motions are considered. It is shown that the development of weak secondary instabilities of mature ideal dissipative structure causes the appearance of imperfect patterns with distributed defects. The perfect and final imperfect patterns are described by the same value of the structure intensity. When the structural transition takes place (as a result of stronger secondary instability), every quasi-steady and final steady states has a different value of the structure intensity.
