This article is devoted to the study of existing methods and systems for production methyl ethers of fatty acids from rapeseed oil. Analyses and comparison are also mentioned. The description of production plant for production of methyl ethers from vegetable oil is given in the article. The authors describe its principle of operation taking into account rapeseed oil and production of methyl ethers from rapeseed oil. The advantages and disadvantages of each method and plant are indicated as well.
