Zusammenfassung
Gegenstand und Ziel: Diese Studie untersuchte die lokalen und systemischen Auswirkungen einer Impfung gegen Paratuberkulose mit Gudair® bei Ziegen. Material und Methoden: In einem Betrieb mit 280 Ziegen erfolgte bei 182 Tieren vor und nach der Impfung mit Gudair® eine serologische Untersuchung auf Antikörper gegen Mycobacterium avium subspec. paratuberculosis (MAP). Bei einer Untersuchungsgruppe von 40 Tieren (bestehend aus 10 Lämmern, 10 Zutretern und 20 Altziegen) wurden nach der Vakzination Körpertemperatur, Hautfaltendicke und Schmerzhaftigkeit der Injektionsstelle, Kraftfutteraufnahme und Milchleistung erfasst. Am Tag der Impfung und an den Tagen 15, 28 und 84 nach der Impfung wurde diese Untersuchungsgruppe mittels ELISA untersucht. Ergebnisse: Die Körpertemperatur der Zutreter war an Tag 15, die der Altziegen an Tag 8 signifikant erhöht (p < 0,0056). Dieser Temperaturanstieg hatte keine klinische Relevanz. Die Hautfaltendicke an der Injektionsstelle blieb bei allen Tieren während der Untersuchung signifikant erhöht (p < 0,0056). Drei von 40 Ziegen wiesen Nekrosen an der Injektionsstelle auf. Zehn Tiere zeigten in den ersten Tagen nach der Impfung Schmerzen und sechs verminderte Fresslust. Vor der Impfung waren 12% der Ziegen serologisch MAP-positiv, nach der Impfung 95%. Schlussfolgerung: Gudair® führt bei Ziegen zu hochgradigen lokalen und teils auch zu systemischen Reaktionen. Klinische Relevanz: Wegen der starken lokalen Reaktionen sollte sich die Impfstelle an der Nutzung der Tiere orientieren. Bei Milchziegen, die regelmäßig in einem Fressgitter fixiert werden, sollte eine Impfung am Hals vermieden werden.
