O livro apresentado traz, como eixo norteador, a apresentação de estudantes pós-graduandos da ECNEM, curso lato sensu em Ensino de Ciências da Natureza e Educação Matemática do Campus Ceres do Instituto Federal Goiano. Em seus artigos, apresentados aqui no formato de capítulos, trazem suas vivências e discussões a respeito da educação e ensino na região do Vale de São Patrício, bem como suas experiências como pesquisadores por estarem em curso de pós-graduação. Tais artigos passaram por banca de defesa, apresentados através da ferramenta Google Meet no ano de 2021, ainda no período da Pandemia de Covid-19. O grupo de autores-pesquisadores é formado por profissionais da educação, em formação, de diversas áreas. Temos biólogas, pedagogo, química, físico, matemática e cientista da computação, todos atuando como professores na rede pública de ensino. O capítulo inicial é escrito por Luciane Ferreira Freitas sob a orientação de Adriano Honorato Braga onde abordam a importância do USO DE TECNOLOGIA DE INFORMAÇÃO E COMUNICAÇÃO POR PROFESSORES DO ENSINO MÉ-DIO. Camila Marques Franco sob a orientação de Lucianne Oliveira Monteiro Andrade apresenta no segundo capítulo o artigo A APRENDIZAGEM NA EJA: UMA REFLEXÃO A PARTIR DAS METODOLOGIAS DE ENSINO, trazendo uma discussão importante a respeito da educação de jovens e adultos. O artigo A EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NOS COMPONENTES CURRICULA-RES DE CIÊNCIA E GEOGRAFIA NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL, de Dalciely Rodrigues da Silva sob a orientação de Renata Rolins da Silva Oliveira, busca analisar a educação ambiental de acordo com o que é apresentado no ensino fundamental atualmente. No artigo apresentado por Udmila de Oliveira Cota soba a orientação de Lucianne Oliveira Monteiro Andrade, PANORAMA DAS LICENCIATURAS EM QUÍMICA NO IF GOIANO: FORMAÇÃO VOLTADA À COMUNIDADE, nos traz uma reflexão a respeito de como tem sido desenvolvido o curso de Licenciatura em Química no Brasil e mais especificamente no IFGoiano.
