RESUMO -Este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar a degradação eletroquímica do azul de metileno mediada por cloretos utilizando um ânodo de Ti/Ru0,5Ir0,5Ox em meio de Na2SO4 0,1 mol L -1 com adição de três concentrações de NaCl (10, 20 e 30 mmol L -1 ). As taxas de remoção de cor foram de aproximadamente 100% para as três condições, entretanto para as concentrações de 20 e 30 mmol L -1 de NaCl levaram 30 min e a de 10 mmol L -1 de NaCl uma hora de eletrólise. Porém, a concentração de 20 mmol L -1 apresentou maior remoção de carbono orgânico total (62,4%) e menor consumo energético (11, ).
RESUMO -As condições de síntese de eletrodos influenciam diretamente em suas propriedades e características. Desta forma, neste trabalho investigou-se a influência da massa de óxido de rutênio depositada em ânodos de composição nominal Ti/RuO2 preparados pelo método de decomposição térmica de cloretos, usando como solvente o líquido iônico [Hmim][HSO4] e calcinados a 550 ºC. Após a caracterização dos ânodos com massa de 1,2 e 2,2 mg cm -2 , observou-se que o ânodo com menor massa depositada apresentou uma maior carga voltamétrica (4,81 mC cm -2 ), melhores respostas nos estudos de capacitância e menor tempo de síntese, porém menor tempo de vida.
