This paper presents a fuzzy version for evaluating the reliability of complex power systems. In the proposed algorithm, fuzzy set theory was used to evaluate the coe cients of diOE erent terms in reliability expression. The reliability coefcients are composed of tie sets, cut sets and links' capacities of that system. The proposed algorithm is very useful to the on-line power systems security assessment. It depends on the system history and past experiences. The entire logic of the algorithm is explained in details and veri ed through a numerical example.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
