Выполнение требований современных международных стандартов для дизельного топлива (например, снижение содержания соединений серы) приводит к возникновению проблемы ухудшения смазывающих свойств топлива. Практика использования глубокоочищенных топ-лив в ряде стран Западной Европы и США доказывает: снижение содержания вредных ве-ществ в выхлопных газах сопровождается преждевременным выходом из строя прецизион-ных пар топливоподающей аппаратуры, в т. ч. и плунжерных пар топливных насосов высокого давления, как следствие -потеря мощности, увеличение расхода топлива, повышение дымно-сти отработавших газов. Для решения проблемы изнашивания конструктивной пары «плун-жер-втулка» с позиций усталостной теории износа поставлена и решена задача изучения физико-механического процесса изнашивания их контактирующих поверхностей. Стохасти-ческий характер разрушений микрообъёмов, происходящих на контактирующих поверхно-стях плунжерной пары в микро-и макромасштабах, действие температурных градиентов затрудняют получение полного математического описания основных процессов, влияющих на механизм и интенсивность их изнашивания. В этом случае для процесса моделирования целе-сообразно использовать анализ размерностей физических величин, характеризующий трение и в большей мере износ тел. Эмпирический опыт науки о трении и износе позволяет предста-вить влияние тех или иных факторов на исследуемый процесс. В связи с отсутствием возмож-ности математического описания влияния всех факторов на процесс изнашивания плунжерной пары использован метод теории анализа размерностей. В результате получены критериальные соотношения, позволяющие судить о качественной связи параметров действующих факторов.Ключевые слова: дизельные двигатели, топливная аппаратура, дизельное топливо, смазывающие свойства, плунжерная пара, трение, износ.
