Abstract. The calculation of volume concentrations of solid, liquid and gaseous phases of the cement paste produced due to the use of cement that was synthesized on the basis of cement clinker fused in low-temperature plasma was conducted. The changes of kinetic characteristics of the system were identified; they include degree of the pore space filling, the intensity of restructuring, the cement hydration degree at solid and liquid phases, as well as the kinetics of structure adjustment. The quantitative values of changes in the system during solidification relatively to the initial phase composition were obtained; and the comparison with the control samples was performed. Physico-chemical and physico-mechanical research of cement paste was conducted. It was found that during hydration of the test cementitious agent porosity of the system decreases up to 3.6 times relative to the control sample. At the same time, the degree of restructuring of the system increases by 1.2-1.3 times; the degree of filling of the pore space -by 25.6%; the degree of hydration at the solid phase -by 13.5%. This complex increases the strength of the system by 1.7-1.97 times compared to the control samples.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
