Organic thin films of lead phthalocyanine (PbPc) are investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy. Details of the surface a t different magnifications show both, microcrystalline structure of the films and single microcrystallites grown with other orientation on the textured surface of the primary crystallite layer. Additionally an SEM micrograph is given.
The surface microstructures of lead phthalocyanine thin films are resolved by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in air. The data are compared with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and infrared (IR) spectroscopy data. STM images show a substructure for the thicker (≈ 550 nm) lead phthalocyanine films.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
