THE INFLUENCE OF UNCERTAINTY ON THE LIQUIDITY OF THE BANKING SYSTEM OF UKRAINE The article is inducted to the study of the essence of the concept of "uncertainty", because against the background of recent events in Ukraine and the world, this factor acquires considerable importance due to the fact that uncertainty gives rise to the inability to assess the development of events in the future, both from the standpoint of the likelihood of its realization and from the standpoint of the form its manifestations. In the course of the work, it turned out that the study of uncertainty and its types remain insufficiently developed both at the theoretical and applied levels both among domestic and foreign scientists, the theoretical foundations of the study of the concept of "uncertainty" are insufficient, the level of interest in this topic in Ukraine and the world is at a low level. It was revealed that interest in uncertainty appears only in those periods when certain large-scale unexpected and unpredictable events occur, so over the past 10 years, interest in this problem has appeared during the period of intensified hostilities in the east of Ukraine, during the banking crisis of 2014-2015, and with an outbreak coronavirus infection COVID-19, but however, quickly faded away. The article examines the types of uncertainty-economic, political and social, which are interrelated and equally ambiguous affect the course of business processes, including the activities of banks and the level of their liquidity. It was found that uncertainty always exists, sometimes it increases, and sometimes it decreases, but it always exists in all areas. This work analyses the main factors influencing banks' liquidity (internal and external) and substantiates the need to take into account such a factor as "uncertainty". It was revealed that there is no single generalized indicator of uncertainty, however, the International Monetary Fund publishes articles FsD, in which it identifies four indices of uncertainty: 1) the World Uncertainty Index (WUI) 2) the Wor...
