Abstract. The goal of the article is to elaboration analytical models describing a new system of reinforcing three-layer walls of large-panel buildings with bonded anchors. The use of this type of fasteners that bond the façade texture layer to the structural slab is necessary due to the low durability of previously used suspension elements. Various bonded anchorage systems were considered. The new anchorage systems were designed as two-anchors systems (horizontal anchor and diagonal anchors) and three-anchors systems (horizontal anchor and two diagonal anchors). The inclinations of these anchors are in the range of 30˚-60˚ in relation to the surface of the element. For the above types of reinforcements, analytical models have been developed that take into account the change of strength parameters of the resin and steel from which the anchors were made, the interaction of materials resin-steel and resin-concrete and the effect of the simultaneous action of pull-out and shearing forces. Moreover, was assumed the simultaneous destruction of fasteners two-and three-anchors. The elaborated analytical models will be used to determine the load-bearing capacity of the new connector system, which will allow the elaboration of guidelines for strengthening three-layer walls of largepanel slab buildings.
Although the effect of semi-rigid steel beam-to-column connections on the behaviour of steel frames and their substantial economic benefits are recognized nowadays, many structural analyses still consider connections as either fixed or pinned. For that reasons, there is need to be able the generate moment-rotation responses of semi-rigid connections that can be used for analysis and design proposes. Characteristic of the joints can be found using FEM models. The objective of the analysis was to find moment-rotation curves for end-plate connections. The analyzed splices were shaped considering typical recommendations for such connections. Numerical elastic-plastic 3D finite models was performed in order to establish a numerical analysis method for evaluating deformation of extended end-plate-beam-to-column joint for varying thickness of end plates. There were used contact elements between bolts and beam and column. Analysis was done for non-preloaded high strength bolts. This kind of model was generated by using the FEM software package ANSYS version 14. Results show moment-rotation curves for thicknesses 6mm, 10mm and 20mm of end-plate. The study confirmed the influence of thickness of end plates on moment-rotation curves for analysing joints and proved that the FE technique was capable of prediction connection response to an acceptable degree of accuracy. The results can be used in advanced structural analysis of beams and frames.
The paper estimated the effect of the distribution of edge and shear stresses occurring in the façade texture layer of three-layer walls of large slab panel buildings, as well as the variability of these stresses depending on the anchorage strength of the anchorage. Bonded anchors with seven different diameters M8 ÷ M30, selected based on catalogues, were analysed. The traction stress was determined based on the destructive force, which is determined by the catalogues of manufacturers of bonded anchors. Depending on the choice of the method of repairing the connections between the textured layer and the structural layer, we give the three-layer walls a new character of work. One of the methods of strengthening the textured layer is the popular COPY-ECO system in Poland. It is a system of two anchors (horizontal and diagonal), reflecting the shape of the work of existing hangers. The article also analyses the variants of oblique anchorages for the M12 anchor with inclination angles of 30∘, 45∘ and 60∘. The extent to which the anchorage inclination angle has been assessed influences the higher parameters of the anchor’s bearing capacity due to the shearing of the textured layer.
