Основными направлениями совершенствования зерноочистительных машин являются: повышение производительности до 200…250 т/ч и более, улучшение качества очистки зерна, расширение функциональных возможностей, снижение энерго-и металлоёмкости. Повышение производительности достигается за счёт увеличения ширины рабочей части, площади сортировальных и подсевных решёт, производительности вентиляторов, применения фракционной технологии очистки по скорости витания и размерам частиц, использования для очистки от грубых примесей дополнительного плоского или цилиндрического решета (скельператора). Улучшение качества очистки зерна обеспечивается путём совершенствования технологического процесса и рабочих органов, применения диаметральных вентиляторов, питающих устройств активного типа, пневмосепарирующих каналов (ПСК) предварительной (до решёт) и основной (после решёт) очистки. Расширение функциональных возможностей-это создание зерноочистительных машин для работы в режимах предварительной и первичной очистки, первичной и вторичной очистки, универсальных зерноочистительных машин для выполнения предварительной, первичной и вторичной очистки. Малыми энерго-и металлоёмкостью обладают самотёчные гравитационные воздушно-решётные сепараторы, зерноочистительные машины с замкнутыми и замкнуто-разомкнутыми воздушными системами со встроенными внутри диаметральными вентиляторами и инерционными пылеуловителями. Результаты исследования могут быть полезны научным сотрудникам и конструкторам при разработке новых зерноочистительных машин.
