The diagnosis of primitive neuroectodermal tumour of the cervix was retained after immunohitochemical staining. The patient underwent a radical resection with adjuvant chemotherapy. Local recurrence appeared 18 months later and the patient died 6 months later.Primitive neuroectodermal tumour of the cervix are uncommon. The diagnostic difficulties are reviewed.
