Eleven gamma-ray transitions have been identified in 175Lu, by pefforming singles, prompt ~--~ coincidenee and delayed ~--~ coincidence measurements using Ge(Li), hyper pure Ge and NaI (TI) detectors. Two of these transitions (18 and 28.5 keV) have been observed for the first time and ate of value in supporting a recently reported energy level at 371 keV.Energy levels of rotational bands, 1-/2 [541]; 5+/2 [402] and 7+/2 [404] have been fitted using the angular momentum expansion. The required parameters ate given. The previously doubted spins 15-/2 (1137 keV) and the 21-/2 (1078 keV) in the band 1-/2 [541] have been theoretieally eonfirmed while an experimental energy state at 845 keV of doubted spin 13+/2 could be reasonably fitted to the 5+/2 [402] rotational band.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
