structure structure (solids and liquids) D 2000 17 -003 Nonstoichiometry, Structural Perfection, and Properties of La 1−x Mn 1+x O 3±δ Magnetoresistive Materials. -A detailed study on non-stoichiometric lanthanum manganites La 1−x Mn 1+x O 3±δ (-0.2 ¡ x ¡ 0.4) is described. Ceramic samples with Mn/La ratios ¿1 (x = 0; 0.1; 0.2; 0.3; 0.4) are single-phases and crystallize in a rhombic or orthorhombic distorted perovskite type structure with cation and anion vacancies.
