We will present a.lgorithms and impleiiient.ations for Weyl-Heisenberg (W-H) coefficient computa.tion of critically sampled and oversampled periodic discrete signals. In the oversa.iiipled case, both int, eger oversampling and fractional oversa.mpling are iiivest, igataed. Implementation results on single RISC processor of i860 and the Paragon parallel multiprocessor syst, eiii are given for sampling sizes both of powers of two and mixed sizes with factors 2, 3 , 4 , 5, 6 , 7, 8, 9. The algorithms described in this paper possess highly parallel structure, and are especially suitable in a distributed memory parallel processing environnient.. The t,iming results on single i860 processor and on 4-aad %node computing systems show that real-time comput.a.tion of W-H expansions is realizable.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
