Summary: The frequency of Pityrosporum orbiculare as a skin commensal in children is described. Sixty subjects including 26 girls and 34 boys aged 2 months to 14 years were examined. Negative results have been obtained without differences between the various age groups or the two sex groups studied.
Zusammenfassung: Es wurde die Häufigkeit von Pityrosporum orbiculare als Hautkommensale an 60 Kindern (26 Mädchen und 34 Jungen) im Alter von 2 Monaten bis 14 Jahren untersucht. Bei sämtlichen Altersgruppen und bei beiden Geschlechtern waren die Resultate unterschiedslos negativ.
