Data on the fauna of blackflies (Diptera: Simuliidae) of the Republic of Mordovia (Russia) are presented for the first time. As a result of research in 2009-2013, 11 species of blackflies are recorded for Mordovia:
Резюме. Приводятся новые фаунистические данные о 19 видах сетчатокрылых и 3 видах верблюдок Мордовии. Семь видов сетчатокрылых и два вида верблюдок являются новыми для региона. Отмечен хорошо выраженный половой диморфизм у Chrysopa perla (Linnaeus, 1758): у всех 23 изученных самок тергиты брюшка сверху темные (черные или бурые, степень развития рисунка у разных особей очень варьирует), тогда как у всех 47 изученных самцов тергиты (кроме первого) лишены темной окраски; они зеленоватые, примерно одного цвета с зелеными частями тела.
A list of 55 species of Diptera from families Tanypezidae (1 species), Megamerinidae (1), Acroceridae (1), Psilidae (5), Lonchaeidae (8), Strongylophthalmyiidae (1), Ephydridae (21) Scathophagidae (17 species) collected in the Republic of Mordovia is given. Of them Protearomyia withersi MacGowan, 2014 and Lonchaea baechlii MacGowan, 2016 are recorded from Russia for the first time. Five species, namely Megamerina dolium Fabricius, 1805, Lonchaea carpathica Kovalev, 1974, Ephydra scholtzi Becker, 1896, Strongylophthalmyia pictipes Frey, 1935 and Chamaepsila bicolor (Meigen, 1826), are new for Central part of European Russia. The families Acroceridae, Megamerinidae, Psilidae, Tanypezidae and Strongylophthalmyiidae as well as 53 species are recorded from the Republic of Mordovia for the first time.

В результате исследований в 2007-2011 годах в Республике Мордовия составлен список 157 видов чешуекрылых, из которых 150 приводятся впервые для изученной территории. 3 сложных для определения вида подтверждаются после старых указаний не лепидоптерологами. Остальные относятся к нуждающимся в дополнительном освещении.Аbstract. As a result of 2007-2011 research, a list of 157 species of Lepidoptera from the Republic of Mordovia is presented, 150 of which are new for the fauna of the Republic. Three difficult for determination species, previously known after old records by non-lepidopterists, is confirmed. Other species must be investigated additionaly.
