Apex locator is comparable to conventional radiograph in determining the working length without radiation in the primary teeth. Intraoral digital radiography is the safest method in determining the working length with significant reduction in radiation exposure.Hence, both the techniques can be safely used as alternatives to conventional radiographic methods in determining working length in primary teeth.
Anterior dental crossbites are one of the most common orthodontic problems that we observe in growing children. Anterior crossbite correction in early mixed dentition is highly recommended as this kind ofmalocclusion do not diminish with age. Uncorrected anterior crossbite may lead to abnormal wear of the lower incisors, dental compensation of mandibular incisors leading to thinning of labial alveolar plate and/or gingival recession. There are several methods for solving this problem. This paper reports a n case of anterior crossbite, which was corrected using the Hawley's appliance with double cantilever spring in a short period of 3 – 4 weeks without causing any damage to the tooth or the periodontium.
Conclusion
Dental anterior cross-bite involving one or more teeth can be corrected by means of double cantilever spring with posterior bite plane.

Orofacial trauma is a serious orodental and general health problem that may have medical, esthetic and psychological consequences for children and their parents. When the root of the primary tooth is close to the unerupted permanent tooth, primary tooth trauma may result in developmental disturbances and pulpal reaction in that permanent tooth. We report a case in which injury to the primary dentition resulted in developmental disturbances in the underlying permanent tooth. Localized malformation of the crown and enamel hypoplasia was treated with a light-cured composite resin restoration.
