B. Parfiims usw.) h a t u. a. im Fabrikationsgang, besonders bei der Kontrolle der Einhaltung der Vorschriften der Herstellung, eine gewisse Wichtigkeit. Auch die gleichzeitige Restiminung des Wassergehalts kann von Bedeutung sein. Da derartige Produkte meistens nur atherisches 731, Hthylalkohol und Wasser enthalten, ermoglicht die quantitative Bestiminung aller drei Komponenten mit Hilfe von analytischen Methoden, die f u r die einzelnen Bestandteile spezifisch sind, die Feststellung einer etwaigen Verfalschung. W e n n samtliche Komponenten bestimmt werden, so mui3 deren Summeunter Berucksichtigung der bei den einzelnen Untersuchungsmethoden zugelassenen Fehlergrenzen -100 O h ausmachen. Es besteht damit auch eine Moglichkeit der Kontrolle, die bei der Untersuchung von Produkten unbekannter Herkunft vorteilhaft sein kann.

H u n y a d yAiis dem Staatlidzen Kontroll-Laboratorizim fur die Pflanzenol-Indtistrie, Budapest Vor einiger Zeit haben wir eine Methode zur Bestimmung des Gehalts an atherischem Ul von Kolnischwasser und Parfiims mittels Infrarot-Bestrahlung beschrieben l.Es lag uns nun daran, diese Methode mit entsprechenden Abanderungen und Erganzungen vor allem auch fur die quantitative Bestimmung des Gehalts an atherischem U1 von Seifen anzuwenden, und zwar, weil eine verlafiliche und verhaltnismai3ig einfache analytische Methode in der einschlagigen Fachliteratur nicht bekannt ist und einer solchen daruber hinaus auch praktische Redeutung zukommt.Unsere Versuchsergebnisse bewiesen, dai3 die unten beschriebene Methode, die im wesentlichen aus einem Trocknungsvorgang unter Infrarot-Bestrahlung besteht, auch fur parfiimierte Seifen sowie fur eine Reihe von kosmetischen Praparaten mit entsprechender Genauigkeit angewendet werden kann.I. Q u a n t i t a t i v e B e s t i m m u n g d e s G e h a l t s a n a t h e r i s c h e m U 1 v o n S e i f e n Mit diesem Problem hat sich das wissenschaftliche Laboratorium fur Parfumerie-Grundstoff e der Dragoco, Holzminden, befai3t. Nach seiner Methode wird zuerst der Gehalt a n unverseiftem Neutralfett + Unverseifbarem und dann das atherische Ul mit Hilfe der sog. Paraffinkuchen-Methode" ermittelt *. Die Genauigkeit der Methode ist nicht mitgeteilt worden. Es ist aber bekannt, dafl die Kuchen-Methode au& bei der Bestimmung des Gehalts der Gesamtfettsauren von Seifen nicht immer zuverlassig ist. Wir bestimmen den Gehalt an unverseiftem Neutralfett + Unverseifbarem in bekannter Weise, d. h. mittels Extraktion mit Petrolather von 40° C oberer Siedegrenze und darauffolgender ,Trocknung" bei 105OC. Aus einer zweiten Einwaage wird dann die Extraktion mit Petrolather wiederholt, aber das Erwarmen des Extraktionsruckstandes -Neutralfett + Unverseifbares + atherisches U1wird diesmal nicht bei 105O C vorgenommen, da die atherischen Ule sich bei dieser Temperatur verfliichtigen, sondern bei 35" C unter Infrarot-Bestrahlung. Unter diesen Bedingungen wird nur der Petrolgther-Rest entfernt, und der Ruckstand enthalt neben dem Neutralfett und Unverseifbaren auch das atherische Ul. Als Diff erenz der beiden Wagungen nach der ,Trocknung" ergibt sich der Gehalt der Seife an atherischem Ul. Untersu~iingsmethodik Man wagt 3Og feinverteilte Seife in einen mit eingeschliffenem Glasstopsel ausgeriisteten Erlenmeyer-Kolben (300 ml) ein und gibt 120 ml dest. Wasser, in dem 1.5 g NaHCO, gelost wurden, hinzu. Dann versetzt man rnit 80ml 96Voigem Alkohol (Vol. 'J/o), verschlieBt den Kolben mit dem Glasstopsel und erwarmt ihn unter haufigem Schwenken in einem Wasserbad von max. 60°C. Die klare Seifen-Losung wird dann in einen Scheidetrichter (300 ml) iibergefuhrt und nach Abkiihlung einmal mit 100 ml und anschlielend zweimal mit j e 50 ml Petrolather von 40" C oberer Siedegrenze ausgeschiittelt. Die Petrolither-Extrakte werden vereinigt und mit dest. Wasser seifenfrei gewaschen. Na...
