Продемонстрированы возможности применения геоинформационных технологий в надзоре за сибирской язвойинфекцией, сохраняющей свою актуальность. Показано, что, несмотря на снижение заболеваемости животных и людей, на территории Российской Федерации сохраняются риски осложнения ситуации, связанные с рецидивирующей активностью почвенных очагов. С использованием геоинформационной системы установлено, что современный ареал сибирской язвы приходится преимущественно на лесостепную, степную, сухостепную и Кавказско-Крымскую горные зоны. На территории этих природных зон зарегистрировано 82 % учтенных в ХХI в. вспышек. Наблюдается отчетливая привязка сибиреязвенного неблагополучия к районам с преобладанием выщелоченно-черноземных, обыкновенно-черноземных, горно-черноземных и горно-коричневых почв. На данных территориях в последние десятилетия возникала большая часть вспышек сибирской язвы. Показано, что все эти территории характеризуются теплым климатом, традиционно развитым животноводством, а также большой численностью поголовья скота в частном секторе, разведение которого связано с практикой свободного выпаса на территории почвенных очагов, а также использованием ручного труда. В рейтинге неблагополучия лидируют территории с высокой численностью поголовья крупного рогатого скота, который в настоящее время остается основным источником эпидемиологического риска. В качестве модели для демонстрации возможностей геоинформационной системы в совершенствовании эпидемиологического надзора за сибирской язвой в части оценки рисков выбрана Республика Татарстан-территория, которая в современных условиях характеризуется высокой эпизоотической активностью и регистрацией спорадической заболеваемости людей. Для данного субъекта выявлены территории риска, определены основные причины сибиреязвенного неблагополучия, а также факторы, способствующие осложнению ситуации.
