Abstract

study examines how to preserve the scenery of historical roads with historical landscapes that are not designated as preservation districts for groups of traditional buildings. Therefore, we investigated the changes in landscape and efforts by the government and residents along the Koya Kaido in Kawachinagano City, Osaka Prefecture. As a result, we were able to clarify how to preserve the scenery of historical roads residents take the lead in landscape preservation.
