Ուկրաինական ճգնաժամը՝ կառավարելի քաոսի համատեքստում/Ukrainian Crisis in the Context of Manageable Chaos

Abstract

The paper touches upon the current Russian-Ukrainian conflict, as a result of which it is concluded that the current confrontation falls within the framework of manageable chaos theory. However, it is an interesting fact that the principles of the manageable chaos theory were initially widely applied by the USA, and now Russia is trying to apply it in Ukraine. In the face of such global instability, the Republic of Armenia must be positioned in such a way that, first of all, not to inflict damage to the national interests. This implies pursueing the so-called "waiting" policy on political and economic fronts, not considering reconciliation treaties that pose a threat to neighboring countries, as it is necessary to understand the far-reaching goals of the superpowers, mainly the West, in resolving the regional instability. From this point of view, it should always be borne in mind that in conditions of global chaos every country aims at strengthening its position by creating an impression that it also ’’complies with the rules of the game’’.
