Abstract

The problem of a person’s psychological safety, mental health in the framework of the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is considered in the article. The aim of the theoretical study is to examine the impact of the pandemic on person’s psychological safety and mental health. The stress factors common for a pandemic situation and their impact on a person’s mental health are described. An attempt is made to identify possible types of conjugation of the concepts of a person’s "psychological safety" and "mental health". The formulation of questions that are existentially significant for a person in a pandemic situation reveals the scale of its negative impact.
