Abstract

Based on the results of the scientific publications review, as well as the study of methods of modern problems of construction of radio devices, there were identified the existing limitations on the functionality of frequency converters the need to expand the functionality of magneto-optical converter (MOC) for multipurpose use.The development of radio and telecommunications is closely linked to the rapid pace and scale of technology growth, especially in the field of element base. Also a significant place in the solution of the current tasks refers to the problem of developing new methods, on the basis of which a wide range of devices and systems of modern radio electronics is built. One of the characteristic features in the fields of science and technology is the creation of devices of different classes, which use nonlinear effects.However, according to the results of the analysis, the operations related to the conversion of the signal spectrum, measurement and processing of radio signals are not perfect.Primary signal converters in radio systems must provide high accuracy of recognition, measurement of frequency, phase, voltage, modulation characteristics, detection of the radiation source, etc. Obviously, to increase the efficiency of these functions is possible through the use of MOC nodes and evaluation of the parameters of electrical signals generated at the output of the converter.For the first time, a method of converting modulated harmonic signals using MOC based on the Faraday effect was developed. It is realized by transferring information to a light wave for its further processing and conversion. It allows to increase processing speed and improve noise characteristics.
