Abstract

The tunica albuginea testis is important for maintaining testicular interstitial pressure. The tunica albuginea of the corpora cavernosa penis plays a significant role in erectile function. Purpose of the work: the study of microrelief and the features of the tunica albuginea testis and corpus cavernosum spatial structure of physically normal men and the tunica albuginea testis in acute orchoepididymitis. Specimens of the tunica albuginea testis and corpus cavernosum of 12 cadavers of physically normal men aged 21-70 who died as a result of accidents were studied, as well as sections of the tunica albuginea testis obtained biopsy during 12 operations for acute orchoepididymitis and 2 hydrocelectomy using scanning electron microscopy.
