Abstract:Possible causes of magnetic oscillations with a low frequency of about 2% of the Brillouin zone, observed in high-temperature superconductors of the YBCO family, are studied. A scenario is proposed in which the observed frequency is proportional to the difference of the bilayer-split closed pockets in the Fermi surface rebuilt due to scattering to charge-density-wave vectors. A method is proposed for experimental determination of which of the four possible scenarios for the rise of these magnetic oscillations … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
