Abstract: In this paper, the phase modulator optical phase drift reduction method is proposed and researched for LiNbO3 multi-functional integrated optical chip as a part of a fiber-optic gyroscope. This approach consists of applying a very high-frequency noise signal to a phase modulator in the range from 20 MHz to 100 MHz, which is outside of a fiber-optic gyroscope operating frequency range.
