Abstract

The purpose of the study is to characterize the specifics of ensuring the economic security of the socio-economic system in the framework of increasing competitiveness. The importance of ensuring the economic security of the socioeconomic system in the framework of increasing competitiveness is proved. The key factors influencing the provision of economic security in the framework of increasing the efficiency of competitiveness are identified. It has been established that for optimal functioning, development of their own capacities and entry into new sales markets, enterprises must have in their structure a system of constant analysis and response to current and potential external changes, which will ensure a constant level of their competitiveness. It is characterized that any socio-economic system and enterprise inevitably faces different types of risks and threats throughout the entire life cycle. It has been established that the enterprise as an integral socioeconomic system operates in a certain environment. This environment is divided into internal and external. The external and internal environment are essentially two different categories that have much in common, but at the same time many differences. Combines them in the context of the enterprise, the negative impact of threats. The main threats that negatively affect the level of economic security in the framework of improving the efficiency of competitiveness are identified. It has been determined that the competitiveness of an enterprise is a fundamental factor in the modern market environment and the key to the survival and adaptation of an enterprise to various challenges, risks and threats. The current state of the Ukrainian market, where enterprises operate, is characterized by a significant level of uncertainty, dynamism and demanding consumers regarding products.
