Abstract

The processes of electron-stimulated desorption (ESD) of Li atoms in the Li/LixAuy Au/W system have been investigated for the first time. The formation of a semiconductor 2D LixAuy layer is revealed. It is shown that ESD processes occur at the interface of the Li monolayer - 2D LixAuy layer.
