У T. platyphyllos Scop. і T. europaea L. за дії токсичних викидів ТЕС виявлено збільшення ширини первинної кори стебла та окремих її складових (корка, коленхіми, корової паренхіми) та підт… Show more

“…under the influence of power plant emissions (SO 2 , NO x , solid additions). However, the authors note that the first two types of proliferation of this part of the stem was due to protective tissues (cork and collenchyme) and primary cortex parenchyma, whereas in T. cordata the phellem and primary cortex parenchyma increased, while the mechanical tissue primary cortex reduced [10].The present research findings (Table. 1) do not demonstrate qualitative changes in the structure of the stem primary cortex under conditions of anthropogenic stress. The outer layer of the stem of the studied species is periderm, which is a multiple layer tissue, the main component of which is cork.…”

Anatomical plant indices can also be used as technogenic pollution bioindicators and sensitive test parameters in studies monitoring the state of plants in contaminated areas [10,11].However, today the chronic impact of industrial emissions of sulfur oxides (IV) and nitrogen (IV) on the anatomical structure of the stem of woody species has not been thoroughly studied. There is little research devoted to the Salix L. genus ecological and anatomical studies under conditions of anthropogenic territories of the steppe zone of Ukraine.…”

“…So, Dmuchowski, Kurczynska & Wloch (1998) note that high rate of steelmaking industry emissions inhibiting the mitotic activity of the cambial zone in the Pinus sylvestris L. stems lead to reduction of the number of phloem cells at different stem height levels. Griztay & Shupranova (2015) found that the secondary cortex if the stems of Tilia cordata Mill. depletes when exposed to power plant emission (SO 2 , NO x , solid impurities), which is associated with shrinkage of mostly soft bast, and to some extent due to the thinning of the hard bast.…”

“…The previous research was devoted to the study of some growth indicators Tilia representatives in conditions of an industrial city in the southeast of Ukraine. There is evidence of the impact of emissions from motor vehicles on the assimilation system of Tilia genus [19,20], its seed productivity [21], the parameters of anatomical stem structure under conditions of polluting the environment with emissions of the TPP [22], the state of the reproductive organs under the complex contamination with the emissions of metallurgical industry and petrol fumes [6]. However, there is little research in the generative system sensitivity of different species of Tilia genus to TPP emissions in terms of the steppe Prydniprovya.…”

“…Our previous research made it possible to examine and analyze the histological parameters of Tilia stem affected by the emissions of the same technogenic object [22], while the present paper aims at assessing the impact of pollution emissions of the TPP on cytogenetic and morphometric parameters of the floral system of woody plants of Tilia genus. The research was done in June and July in 2015.…”
