Abstract

The field of hospitality is one of the important components of the country's economy. For the efficient implementation of service processes and the provision of quality services, the staff of a hotel and restaurant establishment must possess not only knowledge and skills in the implementation of production processes, but also be communicative and friendly. These qualities often depend on working conditions in institutions and living conditions. According to Article 43 of the Constitution of Ukraine, every person has the right to safe working conditions. This axiom is also confirmed by other legislative acts. However, Russia's military aggression significantly worsens the quality of work and life of Ukrainians. Modern conditions of existence demonstrate phenomena and facts that prompt us to take a new look at the problem of safe implementation of production processes in hotel and restaurant establishments. The field of hospitality has a large number of service personnel. The health and working capacity of each member of the team affects the safety of both employees and guests of institutions. The safety of people staying in hospitality establishments directly depends on the staff's ability to identify hazards, take measures to prevent them, and eliminate the consequences of negative phenomena. Ukraine is a modern European state and strives for European values. That is why today the processes of improving the legislation regulating relations between employers and employees are taking place, approaches to creating safe working conditions in society are being rethought. The study of the real state of labor protection in hospitality establishments will allow an objective look at the problem of creating safe working conditions for personnel and develop a strategy for their improvement. Considering the fact that a person spends most of his life at work among colleagues, it becomes obvious that maintaining the physical and psychological health of employees in any industry is a priority for employers in their desire to keep staff healthy and able to work as long as possible.
