Abstract:The magnetization curves and hysteresis loops of Fe, Fe_90N_10, Fe_95Zr_5, Fe_85Zr_5N_10, and Fe_77Zr_7N_16 films were measured for determining coercive field H _c, saturation magnetization M _s, and the rms fluctuation of local magnetic-anisotropy field a ^1/2 H _a of these iron-based materials. A model approximation with empirical second-order polynomial and Pareto chart clearly demonstrates the influence of the grain size, anisotropy field a ^1/2 H _a, and saturation magnetization on the coercive field.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
