π,K+,andK0electromagnetic form factors

Abstract: The rainbow truncation of the quark Dyson-Schwinger equation is combined with the ladder Bethe-Salpeter equation for the meson amplitudes and the dressed quark-photon vertex in a self-consistent Poincaré-invariant study of the pion and kaon electromagnetic form factors in impulse approximation. We demonstrate explicitly that the current is conserved in this approach and that the obtained results are independent of the momentum partitioning in the Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes. With model gluon parameters previousl… Show more

“…They relate even to radial excitations and/or hybrids [43,44,45], and heavy-light [46,47] and heavy-heavy mesons [39]. The results have been illustrated using a renormalisation-group-improved rainbow-ladder truncation [38,48], which also provided a prediction of the electromagnetic pion form factor [49]. In addition, algebraic parametrisations of the dressed-quark propagators and meson bound-state amplitudes obtained from such studies continue to be useful.…”

“…The last result is an estimate based on the ρ-meson/π-meson radius-ratio [49,74]. The Faddeev equation's kernel is completed by specifying that the quarks are dressed, with two of the three dressed-quarks correlated always as a colour-3 diquark.…”

“…If one goes beyond the rainbow-ladder truncation for the propagators, the meson BSAs and the quark-photon vertex, one has to go beyond impulse approximation for the meson form factor to ensure current conservation [23]. For example, following the general procedure of Ref.…”
