κ and λ urine free light chains: a new method for quantification

Abstract: Background: Immunofixation electrophoresis of urinary proteins, coupled with densitometric analysis, is the gold standard method for determining urinary monoclonal free light chains (FLCs), i.e. Bence Jones protein.
