Abstract: Fibrosis, characterized by sustained activation of myofibroblasts and excessive extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition, is known to be associated with chronic inflammation. RIPK3, the central kinase of necroptosis signaling, is upregulated in fibrosis and contributes to the TNF-mediated inflammation.
