Entwicklungsbiologie: Das 4,6‐disubstituierte 2‐Aminopyrimidin 1 erwies sich beim Screening kombinatorischer Bibliotheken als dosisabhängiger Agonist der Wnt‐Signalübertragung. Kaulquappen aus mit 1 behandelten Embryonen zeigten schwere Schäden im Kopfbereich (rechts; links: ohne 1). Verbindung 1 scheint im Xenopus‐Modell die Effekte eines Wnt‐Liganden zu imitieren und könnte helfen, physiologische Prozesse aufzuklären, an denen Wnt mitwirkt.
