α4βδ GABA A receptors are high-affinity targets for γ-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB)

Abstract: γ-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) binding to brain-specific high-affinity sites is well-established and proposed to explain both physiological and pharmacological actions.
