α‐Oxygenated Crotyltitanium and Dyotropic Rearrangement in the Total Synthesis of Discodermolide

Abstract: Eine komplette Strategie: Die Totalsynthese von Discodermolid beruht auf der Bildung von syn‐anti‐Stereotriaden, die an eine (Z)‐O‐Encarbamatgruppe gebunden sind, deren direkter Umwandlung in das endständige (Z)‐Dien und der stereokontrollierten Erzeugung der dreifach substituierten Z‐Doppelbindung durch dyotrope Umlagerung (siehe Schema; OCb=N,N‐Diisopropylcarbamoyloxy). Die Synthese umfasste 21 Stufen und gelang mit einer Gesamtausbeute von 1.6 %.
