Abstract:Of all possible types of epistaxis, 80%-95% originate in the anterior nasal septum. Despite various possibilities for treatment the therapy often remains unsatisfactory. In cases of recurring epistaxis, a prominent vessel very often exists leading from the bottom of the nose of the septum.
