Zur kationischen Polymerisation von reaktiven Monomeren in Gegenwart nucleophiler Gegenionen

Abstract

Die kationische Polymerisation von Isobutylvinylether und p-Methoxystyren wurde niit Triphenylmethylverbindungen initiiert, die nucleophile Gegenionen, wie Chlorid, Bromid, Nitrat oder Sulfat, enthalten. Als Losungsmittel wurden Nitromethan, 1,2-Dichlorethan und Metliylenchlorid im Gemisch mit SO, eingesetzt. Bei allen Polymerisationen wurden Protonenubertragungen auf die nucleophilen Gegcnionen beobachtet. Die Protnncnubertragung wurde an Modellreaktionen mit 1,l-Diphenylmethyl-nieth-l-ylium uiid nucleophilen Gegenionen uberpriift und mit den Polymerisationsdaten verglichen. Die Rolle der Protoncnubertragung auf die Autostabilisierung der Gegenionen wahrend dcr Initiierungsreaktion wird im Zusammenhang mit Literaturdaten diskutiert.
