Zur Bedeutung endogener Potenziale in klein- und mittelstädtisch geprägten Regionen – Überlegungen vor dem Hintergrund der Territorialen Agenda 2020

Abstract: Zusammenfassung Klein- und mittelstädtisch geprägte Regionen zählen in Zeiten der ökonomischen und fiskalischen Krise häufig zu den Verlierern der Gesamtentwicklung, zumal dort Innovationen und Impulse aus den Regionen heraus eher gering sind. Da solche Räume in besonderem Maße auf externe Investitionen oder die öffentliche Hand angewiesen sind, machen sich die sozialen, ökonomischen und demographischen Auswirkungen der Krise hier besonders gravierend bemerkbar.
