Abstract:Biomarker-based targeted therapies have changed the cancer treatment paradigm. While early-stage gastric and gastro-oesophageal junction (GOJ) adenocarcinomas can benefit from surgery, advanced presentations of these diseases have limited therapeutic options and poor prognoses.
