“…The nanostructured ZnO thin film in NF morphology has been fabricated according to our previous research works . The CsPbBr 3 layer was decorated on a ZnO nanostructured layer by a two-step solution process, which consists of consecutive spun cycles of 1 M DMF solution of PbBr 2 and 0.07 M methanol solution of CsBr at 2500 rpm/30 s, respectively .…”

“…Mn-doped ZnO thin films were fabricated as reported in our previous work. ,, As a brief description, a thin ZnO layer was deposited on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO, Sigma-Aldrich, ∼13 Ω/sq, L × W × thickness = 2.1 cm × 1.7 cm × 2.2 mm, active area = 2.82 cm 2 )-coated glass and further annealed in a rapid thermal annealing (RTA) furnace at 300 °C for 30 min under an Ar gas flow. The CBD deposition step for the synthesis of Mn/ZnO NR was performed in a solution containing 27 mM zinc chloride (ZnCl, Sigma-Aldrich-reagent 98%), 3 mM manganese(II) sulfate monohydrate (MnSO 4 ·H 2 O, Sigma-Aldrich-reagent Plus 99%), and 60 mM hexamethylene tetramine (HMTA, C 6 H 12 N 4 , Sigma-Aldrich-ACS reagent 99.0%) at 80 °C for 3 h and the reaction was quenched by inserting the reaction container in an ice bath immediately.…”

“…5 ZnO nanostructures are easily synthesized in diverse morphologies including nanorods (NRs), 6,7 nanowires (NWs), 8 nanosheets (NSs), 9,10 and nanoflowers (NFs). 11,12 One-dimensional (1D) ZnO NRs are especially desirable in UV-photodetector (UV-PD) applications due to their larger surface area, which can contribute to light absorption. 6,13−15 The response/recovery time, which expresses the photodetection time, is an important parameter for a UV-PD.…”

“…Research in the conversion and storage of renewable energy has gained vast acceleration since 2008 with the global energy crisis regarding environmental issues and economic depression due to the exploitation of carbon-based fuels. On the basis of the report of the International Energy Agency (IEA), the capacity of renewable energy is expected to double in the next five years to decrease the use of coal in the electricity generation process to keep global warming at 1.5 °C . Thanks to the enormous development in materials science and high-tech energy systems, many sustainable energy applications have been reported by incorporating hydropower, biomass, geothermal, wind, solar, and ocean energies. , Among all, solar power is the most valuable renewable energy source as it is a continuous power supply to the Earth (3.8 × 10 23 kW). , Therefore, the scientific community has been urged to seek new developments to utilize solar power for energy conversion and storage applications, such as photovoltaic (PV) devices, typically solar cells; photoelectrochemical (PEC) H 2 generation; photocatalytic systems; photorechargeable batteries; and optoelectronics. , Although solar light can be used directly, its unbalanced intermittency regularly affects energy harvest, and a huge energy potential remains untapped. Thus, capturing, converting, and storing solar energy in a single and compact system is of great interest for long-term solution.…”
