ZnO Nano Particles (NPs) Properties Prepared by Liquid Phase Laser Ablation (LPLA)

Abstract: In this work a ZnO NPs have been prepared by liquid phase laser ablation technique from Zn target immersed in ethanol solution. The effect of laser energy and the number of laser pulses of LPLA technique which includes the optical, morphological and structural measurement were investigated. The XRD measurements confirm the presence of ZnO nano size and particle size of average of 41 nm; this has good agreement with TEM measurement. The optical measurements show the increases in the number of the laser pulses a… Show more

“…Nano rods and Nanoparticles (Nps) of noble metals have recently emerged as intriguing materials due to their unique features and critical applications in various scientific fields [1,2]. The production of metallic Nano rods, mostly silver or gold, has sparked interest due to their (SPR) surface Plasmon resonance-related features, which could be helpful in biological applications [3,4]. The control of physical parameters of the ablated Nano rods, like the surface functionalization, shape, and size, is the most essential concern in Au NP production [5,6].…”

“…Nowadays, the sol-gel methods with utilization of dip coating is widely used because of several merits such as, the easy control of chemical components, low cost techniques and low fabricating temperature [4,5]. ZnO can be doped by varies dopants such that Indium (In), Cobalt (Co), Iron (Fe), Antimony (Sn), Aluminum (Al) [6][7][8]. ZnO can be easy synthesis by wide different methods and by dopant it, one gets a good property for gas sensor applications [3].…”
