“…The spectra also conrm the stretching mode of C-H from the aromatic ring and the aliphatic chain in 2-methylimidazole as shown by peaks at 2931 and 2864 cm À1 respectively. 24,25 In the FTIR spectra of CoAl-LDH, the broad absorption band at 3434 cm À1 is attributed to O-H stretching of water molecule in the brucite-like layers, and the bending vibration of water molecules manifests the peak at 1631 cm À1 , exhibiting the existence of water in the interlayer of LDH. The feature of nitrates is also presented in the spectra of LDH, authoring that nitrates are in the interlayer space.…”

“…The isoelectric point of ZIF-8 is at pH of 8, so the MOF surface is positively charged when pH < 7 but negatively charged when pH > 7 [52]. Therefore, at lower pH, strong electrostatic attractions occur between sulfonate groups of AO7 and the linkers of the MOFs, but excess hydrogen ions might compete with ZIF-67 or ZIF-8 in acidic solution, leading to the increase of adsorption capacity with increasing pH [53]. The highest q t value coincides before the isoelectric points of each MOF.…”

“…[20][21][22] The promising characteristics of highly ordered structure, large specic surface areas and tunable structural features render MOFs suitable for its applications in many elds, including separation, 23 gas storage, 24 drug delivery 25 and catalysis. 26 As the "nodes" of the MOFs, metal ions are expected to be potential heterogeneous activators of PDS or PMS. Gao et al 27 investigated the catalytic performance of MIL-53 as heterogeneous photocatalysts of PDS under visible LED light, their results demonstrated that the accelerated photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants was obtained in the presence of PDS.…”
