“…The characteristic peaks of G band and D band were clearly observed. [19] The G peak located at 1580 cm À 1 coming from the first-order Raman band of all sp 2 hybridized graphitic materials, and the D peak located at 1348 cm À 1 indicating the defect activated band in sp 2 hybridized carbon materials. The higher intensity of the D band (I D / I G ) in the catalyst indicated the higher defects or disorder in the graphene materials.…”

“…fabricated hybrid CoP/NC catalyst, derived by combining polyacrylonitrile‐cobalt acetate (synthesized by electrostatic spinning) and 2‐methylimidazole in ethanol solution, followed by phosphidation. [ 90 ] The morphological analysis revealed the in situ growth of CoP nanoparticles and the surface of PAN‐Co(AC) 2 nanofibers was smooth and clean before the growth. On the other hand, the surface of nanofibers turned rough with the growth of ZIF‐67 crystals.…”

“…M OOH e is the rate-determining step. [39,40] Among the NiFe-based vanadates with different crystallinities, the heterophase NiFe-VO x -0.5 exhibits an overpotential of 267 mV at the current density of 10 mA cm −2 , which is much lower than that of the amorphous NiFe-VO x -0.1 (320 mV), crystalized NiFe-VO x -1 (274 mV), and NiFe-VO x -2 (296 mV), and even comparable to the commercial RuO 2 (268 mV) (Figure 4e). The similar Tafel slopes of NiFe-VO x -0.5 (38 mV per decade), NiFe-VO x -1 (40 mV per decade), and NiFe-VO x -0.1 (45 mV per decade) indicate the similar intrinsic activity of NiFe centers (Figure 4f).…”
