Abstract:Zearalenone (ZEN) is a secondary metabolite from Fusarium species. It is also present in plants and regulates the photochemical reaction in Photosystem II, the stress response, and root growth. To investigate the mechanism by which ZEN regulates Tetrastigma hemsleyanum root growth, differentially expressed microRNAs (miRNAs) were identified and verified by high-throughput sequencing and Agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated transformation of the roots of T. hemsleyanum seedlings treated with and without ZEN. The p… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
