Zakat Management and Distribution by Zakat, Sedekah and Wakaf (Zawaf) Unit at Universiti Teknologi Mara Perlis Branch

Abstract: This article aims to analyze zakat management at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perlis Branch which is managed by the Zakat, Sedekah, and Wakaf Unit (ZAWAF). The objective of this study is to identify the category of asnaf at the UiTM Perlis Branch that receives zakat from ZAWAF, analyze the type of zakat given by ZAWAF to zakat recipients, and analyze the management of zakat distribution by ZAWAF at UiTM Perlis Branch.
